TEXAS HEALTH AND SCIENCE UNIVERSITY
as an Instructor in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine. This exciting opportunity allows you to share your expertise and passion for holistic health in a vibrant academic environment in Austin, TX.
Responsibilities:
Teach courses in acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine to diverse student groups. Develop and update curriculum to ensure relevance and alignment with industry standards. Provide mentorship and academic support to students throughout their learning journey. Conduct research in the field of acupuncture and herbal medicine. Participate in faculty meetings and contribute to departmental initiatives. Engage in community outreach to promote awareness of holistic health practices. Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback. Stay current with advancements in acupuncture and herbal medicine practices.
Requirements:
Master's degree or higher in Acupuncture, Chinese Medicine, or a related field. (Doctorate Degree Preferred) Current licensure to practice acupuncture in Texas. Experience in teaching or training in a higher education setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Passion for holistic health and commitment to student success. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Research experience in acupuncture or herbal medicine is a plus. Dedication to continuous professional development and learning.
