Job Description

Christ the King School, a Catholic elementary school serving students in grades PreSchool through 8th grade, is seeking a part-time (0.5 FTE) or Full-Time (1.0 FTE) French Teacher for the 20262027 academic school year. The successful candidate will be committed to the mission of Catholic education and dedicated to fostering both academic excellence and spiritual growth in young learners.

The Part-Time/Full-Time French Teacher is responsible for providing high-quality instruction in the French language and culture to elementary students. The teacher will create a supportive and engaging learning environment that promotes the development of communication skills while integrating the values and traditions of the Catholic faith.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver standards-based French language instruction appropriate to elementary grade levelsFoster student engagement through interactive and communicative teaching methodsIntegrate cultural awareness of French-speaking countries into the curriculumAssess student progress and maintain accurate records of achievementDifferentiate instruction to support a range of learning needs and abilitiesCollaborate with faculty and administration to support school-wide goalsMaintain a classroom environment consistent with Catholic values and school expectationsParticipate, as appropriate, in faculty meetings, school events, and professional developmentSupport the religious mission of the school through participation in liturgies, prayer, and faith-based activities
