  • $30 an hour 8 hours ago Qualifications Mandarin In-person tutoring One-on-one student support Working with students Elementary school teaching experience Full Job Description ## Overview We are seeking a dedicated Teacher to join our team at Evergreen Mingyuan School specializing in Traditional Mandarin Language (繁體).
The ideal candidate will have experience working with children aged 10 and above, excellent communication skills, and a passion for childhood development. We currently have one opening, teaching elementary aged children. Classes are held on Saturday mornings 9:30-12. Please attach your Resume/CV and any applicable academic transcripts in your application. ## Duties
  • Implementing lesson plans and activities.
  • Support students in various subjects, including Mandarin and other educational areas.
  • Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Provide one-on-one assistance to students as needed.
  • Assist with classroom management and organization.
  • Contribute to the development of elementary-aged children through engaging activities.

Qualifications:
Must be Traditional Mandarin (繁體). Fluency in Traditional Mandarin (繁體) with Traditional Phonics (注音符號 Zhuyin Fuhao). Prior experience with 10+ age group a plus. Must have work authorization in US (We do not sponsor VISAs). ## Experience
  • Previous experience working with children is preferred.
  • Knowledge of childhood education principles is a plus.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents.
  • Familiarity with Traditional Phonics (注音符號 Zhuyin Fuhao) is advantageous.
