Junior High Spanish Education Teacher Lake Geneva, WI 53147 Part-time Part-time Job Summary Mt. Zion Christian School is seeking a passionate and devoted part-time (1/2 day per week) Spanish Teacher. The ideal candidate will foster a positive and engaging learning environment where students can develop Spanish language vocabulary, cultural awareness, and a love for learning a foreign language while supporting the mission and values of the school. The ideal candidate will also have a strong desire to integrate biblical truth and a Christian worldview into classroom instruction. This position involves lesson planning, language instruction, classroom management, collaboration with colleagues, and communication with parents. Duties Demonstrate love for God Demonstrate spiritual maturity, a teachable spirit and reverence towards God Model an exemplary Christian walk in speech and actions Submit to authority out of obedience to Christ Demonstrate love for students Treat each child as uniquely gifted by God Discipline all students fairly and firmly with an attitude of love Evaluate students' progress with fairly applied criterion Demonstrate professional competence Maintain a classroom environment conducive to learning Develop and implement lesson plans to cover the approved curriculum Challenge each student to grow to his or her maximum potential Requirements Must be a born-again Christian who knows the Lord Jesus as his/her personal Savior Must hold a BA or BS from an accredited college or university. (Exemptions may be made for part-time or substitute teachers only by board and principal approval) Must hold a current certification in Wisconsin in the subject area or grade level for which the teacher is hired. (Exemptions made only by the board and principal approval) Must be an active member of a Bible believing church whose fundamental beliefs are in agreement with the tenets of Faith of Mt.
