Job Summary The Soules College of Business at The University of Texas at Tyler (UT Tyler) is seeking applicants for one full-time Lecturer in Management specifically Operations Management. Key Responsibilities Teach mainly undergraduate courses with a mix of face-to-face and online delivery. Deliver courses including undergraduate and graduate Operations Management, Project Management, and Supply Chain. Participation in departmental, college, and university committees and advising is expected. Maintain regular on-campus presence. Attend departmental meetings. Required Qualifications Ph.D. or D.B.A. (ABD candidates close to completion will be considered) or MBA in Management/Operations or closely related field plus professional experience in the field. Additional Information The retirement plan for this position is Teacher Retirement System of Texas (TRS), subject to the position being at least 20 hours per week and at least 135 days in length. This position has the option to elect the Optional Retirement Program (ORP) instead of TRS, subject to the position being 40 hours per week and at least 135 days in length. This position is security-sensitive and subject to Texas Education Code Section 51.215, which authorizes the employer to obtain criminal history record information.
