Position Summary The Organization, Information, and Learning Sciences (OILS) Program in the College of University Libraries & Learning Sciences seeks to hire Temporary Part-Time Faculty (TPT) to teach online courses in our graduate and undergraduate programs. The program anticipates a need for Temporary Part-Time Faculty positions for the following courses:

- Mentoring Network
OILS 556
Mentoring Network examines mentoring relationships, social networks, and developmental networks in organizational and educational settings. The course explores how mentoring networks support professional learning and career development beyond traditional one-to-one mentoring relationships. Students analyze mentoring and developmental networks, identify sources of professional support and developmental gaps, and develop strategies for strengthening their networks to support ongoing learning and career growth. This course is delivered fully online. The successful applicant will be expected to facilitate course activities, provide timely feedback, and support student learning in an inclusive and engaging online environment.
Qualifications Qualifications Minimum Qualification:
Doctoral degree in Instructional Design and Technology, Learning Sciences, or related field
Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience designing, leading, or evaluating mentoring programs, mentoring networks, or professional learning communities in higher education or comparable organizational contexts. Demonstrated knowledge of mentoring theory, social and developmental networks, networked learning, or relationship-centered professional development. Experience teaching or facilitating graduate-level courses or professional learning experiences, particularly in online or hybrid formats. Ability to work effectively with diverse learners and to apply inclusive, equity-minded approaches to mentoring and teaching. A demonstrated commitment to cultivate an understanding of the rich and varied cultures of New Mexico and to the success of the university's mission to serve local and global communities.
