Job Description A P ostdoctoral Fellow p osit io n i s a vai l able in the Department of Physiology and Cell Biology at the University of Nevada Reno, School of Medicine, to study the involvement of cholesterol and lipid metabolism in the p athogenesis o f inherited peripheral neuropathies.
Required Qualifications:
A pplicants must hold a doctoral degree in the field o f neuroscience, pharmacology, o r molecular a nd cell biology obtained within 5 years of start date. Excellent oral and written c ommunication skills Strong record of productivity from previous training A thorough knowledge in mo l ecu l ar and c el l u l a r b i o lo gy, and/or neuroscience i s essential.
Preferred Qualifications:
The a pplicant should have a h igh level of independence in the design and execution of in vitro and in vivo e xperiments, the collection and analysis of data, and preparation of m anuscripts.
