Job Description:
SUNY Cobleskill is seeking qualified, capable, and enthusiastic adjunct instructors to teach animal science courses. Courses may include, but are not limited to: ANSC 111x
  • Introduction to Animal Science Lab ANSC 117/117x
  • Introduction to Livestock Production and Lab ANSC 124/124x
  • Poultry Science Production and Lab ANSC 212/212x
  • Dairy Cattle Management and Lab ANSC 318/318x
  • Sheep and Goat Production and Lab ANSC 320/320x
  • Swine Production and Lab ANSC 418/418x

Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Animal Science Experience with livestock, dairy, or poultry production Ability to lift 50 pounds and walk measurable distances
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous, successful college teaching experience Laboratory teaching experience Master's degree or higher in Animal Science, Agricultural Education or similar
Additional Information:
We currently have openings for the January 2025 (spring) semester and onward. These courses will meet in-person and will utilize our on campus farm, which is just steps away from our classroom spaces Courses run on a 15-week academic calendar This position is part-time and temporary The College continuously recruits for applicants interested in Adjunct Faculty positions.
