Job Description:
SUNY Cobleskill is seeking qualified, capable, and enthusiastic adjunct instructors to teach plant science courses. Courses may include, but are not limited to:
    AGSC 111X
    • Introduction to Soil Science Lab
    AGRN 135
    • Cannabis Management
    AGRN 255
    • Cannabis Harvest & Analysis
    AGRN 351X

    Requirements:
    Minimum Qualifications
    • Bachelor's Degree in Plant Science, Horticulture or Soil Science
    • Experience with soil science or cannabis production
    • Ability to lift 50 pounds and walk measurable distances Preferred Qualifications
    • Previous, successful college teaching experience
    • Laboratory teaching experience
    • Master's degree or higher in Plant Science, Soil Science, Cannabis/Hemp Production or similar
    Additional Information:
    We currently have openings for the January 2025 (spring) semester and onward. These courses will meet in-person and will utilize our on campus farm, which is just steps away from our classroom spaces Courses run on a 15-week academic calendar This position is part-time and temporary The College continuously recruits for applicants interested in Adjunct Faculty positions.
