Job Description

SUMMARY:
Northern Oklahoma College Division of Agriculture & Biological Science in Enid is seeking adjunct laboratory instructors for the Biological Sciences to begin the Fall semester of 2025. Applicants must have a minimum of a bachelor's degree in the Biological Sciences or closely related field. A master's degree with at least 18 graduate hours in Biological Science or closely related field is preferred. Applicants should exhibit strong communication skills. Previous teaching experience is preferred. Applications will be considered until the position is filled. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include: Teaching undergraduate laboratory courses, up to a maximum of 9 credit hours per the fall and spring semesters, with the understanding that the numbers hours available will fluctuate from semester to semester based on the needs of the division. Effectively communicate with students. Schedule a minimum of 30 minutes of office hours either prior to or following class period. Provide required data for program assessment.
Areas of Knowledge and Expertise Include:
A thorough understanding of the subject matter and laboratory techniques required of the course. Prior teaching experience and classroom management is preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Subject to satisfactory Fair Credit Reporting Act Disclosure which includes a criminal background check.
