A Biology Professor teaches foundational biology ideas, truths, and methods to students through a combination of classroom instruction, lab experience, and assignments at colleges, trade schools or other institutes. May assist or lead in the creation of the biology curriculum to be taught. In addition to instruction, they may assist or lead in research initiatives relating to their field.

Description Independent cancer researcher who is a current faculty member working in area of lung cancer and/or other epithelial cancers, with expertise in cancer signaling pathways that integrate interests with Cell Biology faculty and translational research at Winship. Individuals in postdoctoral or other non-independent positions are not eligible to apply. Active funding of at least one federally funded grant as Principal Investigator e.g. R01 is required for consideration at the associate professor level.
