Supervises student personnel in areas of responsibility General Responsibilities Teach an academic course load of 12 credits per semester (Fall and Spring) of college-level International Maritime Business courses in accounting, finance and/or business data analytics, and offer upper-level business electives. Participate in various academic committees in support of the Department and the Academy. Participate in International Maritime Business Department Experiential Learning Programs. Participate in Open Houses and departmental enrollment initiatives. Serve as an academic advisor to assigned student advisees. Serve as a co-op advisor to assigned student advisees. Qualifications and Requirements Master's Degree in Business, Management or related field. Demonstrated experience of teaching and research. Ability to teach in one or more of the following areas: Finance, Accounting, Logistics, Business Data Analytics, Business Management, Maritime Management or a related field. Ideal candidate will be a scholar with interdisciplinary interests and excellent communication skills. Willingness to contribute to the growth of the International Maritime Business department. Preferred Qualifications Terminal degree in Business, Management or related field strongly preferred. Salary $78,000-$85,000 annually. The Academy offers generous benefits and a competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
