The department also provides classes for the MBA and other graduate programs. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Successful candidates will provide evidence of an ongoing commitment to excellence in student instruction and engagement and maintain strong relationships with professional organizations. Non-tenure track faculty typically teach 12 credit hours per semester and serve on department, college, and university committees. The candidate chosen for this position will receive reassigned time from the normal teaching load to lead design and implementation of aviation management programming at App State's Hickory campus. Evidence of industry and/or academic experience in the field of aviation management with a significant history of industry professional engagement is strongly preferred. Executive-in-Residence is expected to collaborate with the college and department to develop academic program(s) in aviation risk management and related disciplines.
