This course explores the fundamentals of Financial Management from a corporation's perspective. Emphasis is placed on understanding Time Value of Money concepts and applying those ideas to evaluating stocks, bonds and capital budgeting decisions.

Legal Environment of Business Course Description:
This course is an introduction to the U.S. legal system and sources of law, and an analysis of basic legal concepts related to business decisions. Primary areas covered include torts, contracts, and employment law. It will involve discussion, questions and answers on the materials, and case study. This full-time instructional position supports OSU Mansfield's mission of providing accessible, affordable, and student‑centered education to a diverse population, including many first‑generation, commuter, and pre‑health students. Responsibilities Deliver high-quality instruction in assigned Business Finance courses Prepare course materials, assessments, and syllabi aligned with departmental standards Provide timely, constructive feedback to students Maintain regular communication and hold office hours (in‑person or virtual) to support student learning Foster a supportive classroom environment Collaborate with other faculty and staff as needed to support student learning and ensure curriculum alignment across sections. The College The Ohio State University at Mansfield offered its first classes in 1958. The Mansfield campus sits on 640 acres and shares the campus with North Central State College.
