$900.-$1,000. The Gregory H. Olsen College of Engineering and Science at Fairleigh Dickinson University, Florham Campus, seeks an adjunct professor to teach laboratory courses in the fields of general chemistry, organic chemistry, the health sciences, and/or forensic chemistry. The laboratory instructor will be expected to guide students through the performance of weekly pre-designed in-person laboratory experiments in the respective discipline as well as evaluate student notebooks and laboratory reports. The position will also involve the maintenance and supervision of a safe laboratory environment by ensuring chemicals and glassware are handled correctly, PPE is worn, and waste is cleaned up and stored properly.
Required Qualifications:
Applicants are required to hold a Master's degree or above in chemistry or closely related field. Teaching experience is strongly preferred. Candidates with industrial experience are also welcome to apply. Interested applicants should submit a cover letter and curriculum vitae/resume.
