DESCRIPTION
Otterbein University, Department of Chemistry is seeking applications for individuals to serve as adjunct (part-time) laboratory faculty for the fall 2026 semester.
RESPONSIBILITIES
These individuals will provide instruction to undergraduate students in our non-majors' introductory chemistry course, including basic experimentation, keeping lab notebooks, performing basic calculations and writing laboratory reports. These positions will have responsibilities that require the successful candidates to be on campus in Westerville, Ohio. These positions are hired for about 4 hours per week for 16 weeks on Thursday afternoons from 2:40-5:35. The course runs from August 18 th to December 3 rd 2026.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a STEM field. Preferred Qualifications Graduate degree in chemistry or biochemistry. Compensation is a salaried rate for each semester commensurate with highest achieved degree.
