Ideal candidates will demonstrate a commitment to Christ-centered teaching and excellence in the physical sciences.
Position Overview Location:
Virginia Beach, VA (On-campus)
Employment Type:
Part-time, per-semester contract
Key Qualifications Academic Credentials:
A Ph.D. in Chemistry is preferred. Applicants with a Master's degree in Chemistry (or a related field with at least 18 graduate semester hours in Chemistry) will be considered
Spiritual Alignment:
Must subscribe to the University's Statement of Faith and embrace its mission as a Christian institution
Experience:
Prior college-level teaching experience and proficiency with learning management systems (LMS) are highly preferred Expectations include a dedication to Christ-centered teaching and learning a record of or potential for academic scholarship the ability to teach undergraduate-level courses facility with online instructional technology a willingness to embrace the College and University Identity and Mission statements and subscribe to a statement of Christian faith.
