JOB DESCRIPTION
JR
VARSITY CHEERLEADING COACH TEMPORARY
Qualifications:
Current Alabama Teacher's Certification (preferred) or classified dependent upon qualifications of the person holding the position Previous Experience as a competitive Cheerleader participant and/or coach (preferred) but not required Must be available to attend afterschool practices and all sporting events Must possess the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with school administrators, parents, and students
Essenital Duties :
Works with cheerleaders during practices and sports activities Holds organizational meetings for team prospects and encourages students to participate Develops a regular practice schedule and organizes practice time to provide both individual and team development Follows established procedures in the event of an injury Conferences with parents/guardians, as necessary, regarding the academic, behavioral & sports performance of their student Attend the AHSAA sponsored rules clinic for his/her sport
