JOB DESCRIPTION

VARSITY HEAD VOLLEYBALL COACH TEMPORARY
Qualifications:
Current Alabama Teacher's Certification (preferred) or classified dependent upon qualifications of the person holding the position Previous experience in sports as a participant and/or coach (preferred) but not required Completion of all requirements set forth by the AHSAA Coaches' Education Program Must have or be willing to obtain CDL Substantial knowledge of the technical aspects of volleyball and a willingness to examine new theories
Essential Duties :
To instruct student-athletes in the fundamental skills, strategies, and physical conditioning necessary for them to realize a degree of individual and team success To work with the athletic director in accomplishing the mission and goals of the athletic department Ability to work with players, parents, administration and other coaches Attend the AHSAA sponsored rules clinic for his/her sport
