FOOTBALL HEAD COACH TEMPORARY
•MIDDLE
SCHOOL MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Current Alabama Teacher's Certification (preferred) or classified dependent upon qualifications of the person holding the position Previous Experience in sports as a participant and/or coach (preferred) but not required Completion of all requirements set forth by the AHSAA Coaches' Education Program Must have or be willing to obtain
CDL ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Establish performance criteria for competition and manage athletic activities, contests, and practice sessions to promote individual growth in athletic skills, teamwork, and good sportsmanship Instruct student-athletes in fundamentals of running routes and flag-pulling techniques, develop character, model expected behavior Ability to work and effectively communicate with student-athletes, parents, administration, and other coaches Ensures that student-athletes practicing or playing have been cleared through the school•based Athletic Director Provides support in tracking the academic progress of student-athletes Assists the school-based Athletic Director in conducting inventories of uniforms, supplies, and equipment to ensure effective maintenance of physical resources Adheres to the school, school, district and AHSAA regulations, policies, and procedures Organize and maintain the flag football practices and game schedules accordingly Attend the AHSAA yearly rules clinics for flag football Provide specified reports to the school athletic director upon request Complete other duties as assigned by the school athletic director, school administrator, and/or district athletic director STIPEND•$1,800.00 HOW
