We are also open to making this a director's job, with additional responsibilities. In this role, you will design and deliver fun, safe, and progressive gymnastics and ninja obstacle course classes, fostering a positive environment that encourages growth, discipline, and enjoyment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for working with children, sports coaching expertise, and a strong background in physical education or gymnastics. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to shape young athletes' experiences while promoting healthy activity and skill development. Responsibilities Plan, organize, and instruct boys' recreational gymnastics and ninja classes that emphasize safety, technique, and fun. Lead skill development sessions in gymnastics fundamentals, tumbling, and ninja obstacle courses. Manage class behavior effectively through positive reinforcement and behavior management strategies to ensure a respectful and focused environment. Provide clear communication to parents or guardians regarding class progress, safety protocols, and program updates. Ensure all activities adhere to safety standards including AED operation, first aid procedures, and emergency response protocols. Foster team spirit by encouraging sportsmanship, collaboration, and personal achievement among participants. Maintain equipment safety checks and ensure the cleanliness and organization of the training area. Experience Prior experience working with children in a sports or recreational setting is essential; experience teaching gymnastics and coaching youth sports is highly preferred. Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate children while maintaining discipline. Certifications in first aid, CPR/AED operation, child care or childcare training may be required; Strong communication skills for effective client communication with parents and team collaboration with staff members.
