About Us:

Feet First Soccer offers leagues specifically for 2.5-5 year olds. We combine our imaginative curriculum with soccer-specific games to develop the ABCs of sport: agility, balance, coordination, and speed! Feet First players have one session each week, with options for a weekday evening or Saturday morning. Step Up Soccer Academy provides leagues for 5-7 year olds. Our coaches create a positive environment where great players begin, learning the skills today to score tomorrow's goals! Step Up teams have one skill session during the week followed by a weekend game. At our core, we are a childhood enrichment and physical development program using soccer to teach life skills and teamwork.

Expectations:

Soccer Experience :

Have soccer experience but no coaching experience? Or experience teaching young kids but no soccer coaching experience? We can train both.

Personality :

The ideal coach balances professionalism with the ability to be loving and silly.

Availability :

Commit to a minimum of 2 days a week.

Consistency :

Our seasons are 7 weeks, and coaches must be present for all of their assigned team sessions. We hold 5 seasons per year.

Communication :

Coaches are communicators. The best coaches are organized and know how to communicate with players, families, and staff.

Schedule:

Feet First and Step Up Soccer Academy League coaches instruct teams of 6-8 kids, ages 2.5•7 years old. Available coaching hours vary by season, but follow these general timeframes:

Weekdays:

4:30 PM•7:30

PM Saturdays:

8:30 AM•3:00

PM Sundays:

12:00 PM•4:00 PM Coaches are assigned to teams for the entirety of the season and are expected at all games (with pre-approved absences). We offer year-round soccer leagues, so continued coaching opportunities are available for the right fit. We are committed to finding and keeping the best coaches. Training and professional development are provided and paid.
