Job Description

Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Swim Instructor and inspire confidence and joy in swimmers of all ages! In this energetic role, you will deliver engaging swimming lessons that promote safety, skill development, and a love for water activities. Your enthusiasm and expertise will help participants achieve their goals while ensuring a safe and positive environment. Whether working with children, teens, or adults, you'll be a vital part of fostering healthy habits and lifelong water safety skills. Duties Lead structured swimming lessons tailored to various skill levels, from beginners to advanced swimmers Demonstrate proper swimming techniques and safety protocols to students of all ages Monitor participants during lessons to ensure safety and proper behavior management Provide individualized feedback to help students improve their skills and build confidence Enforce pool rules and safety guidelines consistently to maintain a secure environment Assist with pool maintenance checks and emergency response procedures as needed Collaborate with fellow instructors and staff to plan engaging lesson plans and activities Experience Prior lifeguard experience or certification demonstrating water safety knowledge Experience in sports coaching, teaching, or working with children in physical activity settings Background in martial arts such as Karate, Judo, or Climbing is a plus for understanding discipline and physical coordination Knowledge of teaching physical education, swimming, cheerleading, basketball, or gymnastics is highly valued Familiarity with behavior management techniques to support positive learning environments Experience working in health clubs or gyms with diverse age groups is advantageous Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate and engage students effectively Join us in making waves by empowering individuals through swimming!
