Baseball Coach - Assistant I Salary $16.00 Hourly Location Prescott Campus, Prescott, AZ Job Type Casual Part Time (Less than 20 hours/week) Job Number 2026-00233 Department M. Baseball Opening Date 09/16/2026 Description Benefits Description of Position The Assistant Baseball Coach serves as a valuable assistant to the Yavapai College baseball program. They will work closely with the Head Baseball Coach to provide a safe, educational experience that enhances the skill set of the baseball team.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the planning and implementation of Yavapai College baseball program
  • Actively engage with baseball team and monitor participation in activities
  • Assist with the management of baseball team behavior and discipline
  • Work to ensure the safety and well-being of the baseball team
  • Communicate effectively with coaches, training staff, and players
  • Always maintain a positive and professional attitude
  • Other duties as assigned by Yavapai College coaching staff Minimum Expectations & Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Ability to maintain a positive and professional attitude in a fast-paced environment Preferred Skills & Abilities
  • First Aid and CPR certification
