Gymnastics Coach Bakersfield Gymnastics Academy Bakersfield, CA Job Details Part-time From $17 an hour 14 hours ago Benefits Flexible schedule Qualifications Experience working with children Dancing Gymnastics Cheerleading Teaching Full Job Description Bakersfield Gymnastics Academy is looking for energetic, dependable, and positive individuals to join our coaching team! Our coaches work with children of various ages and skill levels, teaching gymnastics fundamentals while helping athletes build strength, coordination, confidence, and a love for the sport. Gymnastics experience is a plus, but not required — we are happy to train the right person! Responsibilities Coach recreational gymnastics classes Teach skills and progressions using BGA's curriculum Keep athletes engaged, active, and safe Provide positive and encouraging instruction Set up equipment and stations as needed Communicate professionally with athletes, families, and staff Participate in required training and staff meetings We're Looking For Someone Who Is Dependable and punctual Energetic and comfortable leading a group Patient and great with kids Positive, coachable, and willing to learn Able to work well as part of a team Comfortable with an active, hands-on job Experience in gymnastics, cheer, dance, tumbling, teaching, childcare, or youth sports is helpful but not required. Schedule This is a part-time position , primarily weekday afternoons and evenings. Some weekend opportunities may also be available. Requirements Consistent weekly availability Ability to perform the physical duties of coaching Completion of required training and safety certifications Ability to meet BGA's employment and background screening requirements Interested in joining our team?
