You'll coach across two tracks under one roof: Sports Performance - Small-group strength, speed, and athletic performance training for youth and high school athletes, plus a smaller group of driven adults Adaptive Fitness & Performance - 1-on-1, buddy, and semi-private training for individuals with developmental disabilities (ages ~10-75+) focused on strength, independence, and quality of life In one day, you might help a 40-year-old with cerebral palsy walk farther than ever, and later coach middle school athletes chasing varsity and college goals. Coaching is the product. We don't run workouts; we develop people. This is a hands-on coaching role. You'll be expected to actively coach, communicate clearly, manage groups with intent, and deliver structured sessions that drive real results. We're looking for coaches who are ready to step on the floor and coach with confidence across diverse populations. Responsibilities Coaching & Program Delivery Deliver A3 programming as written while mastering the intent and structure of the training system. Actively coach sessions minute-to-minute rather than supervising workouts. Apply appropriate coaching cues, regressions, and progressions to meet individual athlete needs. Maintain safety, spacing, and equipment awareness throughout every session. Manage group flow efficiently to maximize athlete engagement and minimize downtime. Uphold the A3 coaching standard regardless of program, athlete level, or time of day. Athlete & Client Experience Build positive relationships with athletes and clients while reinforcing effort, confidence, and engagement. Communicate professionally with athletes and parents within A3 systems. Represent A3 positively in all client-facing interactions. Deliver a consistent, high-quality coaching experience across youth, competitive, adult, and adaptive populations. Documentation & Systems Complete session notes accurately within 24 hours. Record testing data and performance metrics as assigned. Follow A3 scheduling, attendance, safety, and injury-response procedures. Team Contribution Participate in team meetings and professional development. Collaborate with fellow coaches to maintain consistent program delivery. Share observations and coaching insights to support athlete development and a strong coaching culture. Results A successful A3 Performance Coach consistently produces the following outcomes: Training sessions are safe, structured, and executed as designed, with strong group management and minimal downtime. Athletes receive active, attentive coaching throughout the entire session, including clear cues, feedback, and corrections. Athletes demonstrate measurable improvement in strength, speed, movement quality, effort, and training confidence over time. Session notes and documentation are completed accurately and on time. Sessions start on time and run efficiently, with the coach consistently prepared and ready to lead. A3 coaching standards are consistently upheld without the need for repeated reminders or supervision. Communication with athletes, parents, and teammates is professional and collaborative, with coaches sharing observations, asking thoughtful questions, and supporting one another to protect and elevate the athlete experience.
