In this role, you will lead youth soccer teams through engaging practices and motivating games, emphasizing teamwork, skill development, and sportsmanship. Your enthusiasm and coaching expertise will help children build confidence, stay active, and enjoy the sport in a positive environment. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young players' lives while promoting healthy physical activity. Responsibilities Plan and execute age-appropriate soccer practices that focus on skill-building, teamwork, and fun. Lead youth soccer games, providing clear instructions and encouragement to players of all skill levels. Foster a safe, inclusive environment that promotes respect, sportsmanship, and positive behavior management. Assess player progress and provide constructive feedback to support individual development. Collaborate with parents, guardians, and program coordinators to ensure a positive experience for all participants. Maintain equipment, ensure field safety standards are met, and organize team logistics for practices and matches. Incorporate basic physical education principles and incorporate fun activities like cheerleading or climbing exercises when appropriate to enhance overall fitness. Qualifications Prior experience in sports coaching or teaching children in a dynamic environment. Knowledge of soccer rules, techniques, and game strategies. Background in soccer is highly desirable. Experience working with children of various ages with strong behavior management skills. Ability to motivate young athletes while maintaining a positive and energetic coaching style.
