This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work with children and their parents, creating a safe, engaging environment. Your energetic approach and passion for teaching will help families build essential water safety skills with their children while enjoying quality bonding time. We are seeking motivated individuals who are enthusiastic about nurturing early childhood development through swimming and physical activity. Responsibilities Conduct fun, safe, and age-appropriate swimming lessons and water orientation for babies with their parents, ensuring each session promotes confidence and enjoyment in the water Implement lessons that incorporate basic water orientation, and developmental milestones Maintain vigilant supervision of children during lessons to ensure safety at all times, including proper behavior management Engage parents or guardians by providing feedback on their child's progress and offering guidance on water safety practices at home Prepare the swimming area before classes, ensuring cleanliness, safety equipment readiness, and adherence to health protocols Foster a positive learning environment that encourages children's physical development through activities like climbing or simple martial arts-inspired movements when appropriate Collaborate with team members to continuously improve lesson quality and adapt techniques based on individual needs Available 10:45 AM - 12: 15 PM Skills Prior experience with baby swim classes, baby swim instructor, Lifeguard, or in water safety supervision is highly desirable. Water exercise experience is a plus. Experience working with children in aquatic settings demonstrates your ability to manage behavior effectively during lessons Strong swimming skills combined with Water Safety certifications Familiarity with behavior management techniques helps create a positive classroom atmosphere Ability to lead activities with baby and parent groups Join us in creating memorable experiences that lay the foundation for lifelong water safety skills!
