Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic High school or College Swim Instructor to join our team this Fall. This position is for our fall session which ends Oct. 25. If hired, we welcome you to return in spring and summer 2027 . Ideally this candidate should have a background in swimming and instruction. As a Swim Instructor, you will be responsible for providing high-quality swim instruction to students of all ages and skill levels, ensuring a safe and enjoyable learning environment. Swim Instructor Duties Conduct individual swim lessons, focusing on skill development and water safety. Assess students' swimming abilities and tailor lessons accordingly to meet their needs. Create engaging lessons that incorporate various swimming techniques and styles. Foster a positive learning atmosphere that encourages students to build confidence in the water. Monitor students during lessons to ensure safety and proper technique. Communicate effectively with students and their patrons regarding progress and areas for improvement. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pool area before, during, and after lessons. Collaborate with other instructors to enhance the overall swim program. Experience Swim lesson instruction experience required Legally allowed to work in the United States Must be at least 14 years old Work Permit if under 18 years old Proficiency in freestyle, backstroke, and breaststroke Swim team experience is a plus, but not required
Pay:
