WE ARE HIRING TENNIS DIRECTORS/COACHES
Passionate leaders looking to develop today's young athletes! Experience working with children of various ages and abilities! A desire to make a difference and have a blast while doing it!
About Skyhawks Sports:
  • Skill-based classes and camps for Tennis for ages 5 to 14
  • Teaching life skills through sports
What We Offer:
  • Positive Coaching Alliance training
  • Curriculum planner for each sport with skills, drills, and games.
  • Flexible schedules
  • Mon to Fri 3pm to 6:30pm. AND/OR
  • Saturdays
  • 9am-12pm (Very important)
  • Opportunity to positively impact the perception and enhance the overall experience of children in their engagement with sports.
Job Summary:
  • Create a safe and inclusive environment for students to participate in sports activities.
  • Educate students on the rules, techniques, and strategies of various sports.
  • Provide guidance and support to participants to help them improve their skills and reach their full potential.
Knowledge and Skills:
    Leadership:
    Strong leadership skills to guide, inspire, and mentor young athletes.
      Effective Communication:
      Clear and age-appropriate communication to convey instructions, and feedback and demonstrate skills to students of different ages and skill levels.
        Adaptability:
        Flexibility to adapt/modify coaching methods based on the age, skill level, and individual needs of the children.
          Positive Reinforcement:
          Skill in using positive reinforcement to encourage good behavior, effort, and skill development.
            Patience:
            Ability to remain calm and patient, understanding that children may progress at
            Safety Awareness:
            Commitment to creating a safe environment.
              Ethical Conduct:
              Upholding ethical standards and promoting fair play and sportsmanship.
