We strive to make club volleyball affordable for everyone while providing a family feel to our teams, aiming to give athletes a place to belong. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Volleyball Head Coach for a 11-13U team. The ideal candidate will have experience in coaching, or at least a high school varsity/college level playing experience with a desire to coach. This role involves developing athletes' skills, fostering teamwork, and promoting a positive and safe environment for all participants. The Volleyball Coach will play a vital role in inspiring young athletes and helping them achieve their full potential through engaging training sessions and mentorship. Practices are Tue/Thu 5:30-7:30pm The season runs Nov 2026 until Jun 2027, with tryouts early October. Tournaments will be local to Southern California, held on weekends at least once a month. Responsibilities Oversee player development through training sessions, practices, and game prep Plan and lead volleyball practices, drills, and games tailored to various skill levels Teach fundamental volleyball techniques, rules, and strategies Foster teamwork, sportsmanship, and positive behavior Monitor safety during all activities and ensure adherence to safety protocols Provide constructive feedback to help players improve their skills Coordinate with parents and staff regarding team events and schedules Promote a fun, inclusive atmosphere that encourages participation from all players Experience High school varsity/college level volleyball playing experience Prior experience in sports coaching or teaching physical education is preferred Passion for mentoring young athletes and promoting personal growth and positive interactions through sports Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively
