Teaching Full Job Description Responsibilities:

• Plan and lead gymnastics classes for children ages 18 months to 6 years and of various skill levels
• Teach proper techniques and skills in gymnastics, including tumbling, balance beam, vault, and uneven bars
• Create a safe and supportive environment for students to learn and grow
• Provide individualized instruction and feedback to help students improve their gymnastics abilities
• Develop Tots lesson plans that are engaging, age-appropriate, and aligned with the goals of the gymnastics program
• Ensure the gym equipment is set up properly and maintained in a safe condition. Ability to lift and move equipment safely.
• Communicate with parents/guardians about student progress and any concerns or achievements

Experience:

• Previous experience working with children in a gymnastics or related setting is preferred
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents/guardians, and other staff members
• Passion for gymnastics and a desire to inspire and motivate young athletes
• CPR and First Aid certification is desirable
