In this energetic role, you will lead engaging sports programs, teach fundamental skills, and foster a positive environment that encourages growth, confidence, and fun. Duties Lead group sports sessions and skill demonstrations focusing on flag football, track & field, basketball, and soccer. Review age appropriate training lessons and adjust according to prior sport or coaching experience Monitor participants' behavior to promote positive conduct, teamwork, and sportsmanship through effective behavior management strategies. Maintain a clean and organized environment when using facilities and equipment. Team on game/event days. Skills Proven experience working with children in sports or physical education settings. Strong background in coaching any sports. Certification in first aid, CPR and AED operation or willingness to acquire. Knowledgeable in general flag football, track & field, basketball, and soccer rules and expectations Excellent communication skills to effectively instruct children and engage with instructors and school staff. Demonstrated leadership abilities in team leadership or managing groups of young athletes. Knowledge of behavior management techniques to foster a respectful and inclusive environment. Ability to teach concepts confidently while ensuring safety at all times. Ability to move, lift, pull, or push up to 30lbs.
