Freshman Volleyball Coach Sacred Heart High School - 3.9 Los Angeles, CA Job Details Seasonal | Contract $1,550 a year 2 hours ago Qualifications Teamwork Working with athletes Coaching Working with high schoolers Team development Leadership Time management Interpersonal communication Full Job Description Position Summary Sacred Heart High School is seeking a passionate, positive, and dedicated Frosh/Soph Volleyball Head Coach to lead and develop our freshman and sophomore student-athletes. The ideal candidate will foster a competitive, supportive, and educational environment that emphasizes skill development, teamwork, sportsmanship, leadership, and personal growth. The Frosh/Soph Head Coach will work closely with the Varsity Head Coach and Athletic Department to ensure program alignment and help build a strong foundation for the future success of the volleyball program. Responsibilities Plan and lead daily practices focused on skill development, game strategy, and team building. Coach and supervise athletes during practices, matches, tournaments, and team events. Promote sportsmanship, character development, and a positive team culture. Collaborate with the Varsity Head Coach to implement program goals and expectations. Evaluate player performance and provide constructive feedback for growth and development. Communicate effectively with student-athletes, parents, and school personnel. Ensure compliance with all school, league, and CIF regulations. Assist with team administration, including attendance, equipment management, and match preparation. Attend coaches' meetings and professional development opportunities as required. Support the overall mission and values of Sacred Heart High School.
