Note this is an
UNPAID POSITION
Interns assist in day-to-day lesson planning, coordinating program logistics, implementing sports tasks, teaching lessons, and evaluating the effectiveness of our programs. As a young, fast growing company, there is always opportunity for quick advancement into an Assistant Program Lead, Program Director, and on to our Management Team! CORE Coaches are go-getters and team-players, who exude a positive and enthusiastic attitude towards their role and responsibilities. We look for outgoing personalities that embody the CORE philosophy and values.
NOTE:
this position requires moderate physical activity including participation in demonstrations, games, and drills; and, regularly handling equipment and carrying or lifting up to 50 lbs.
Requirements/Skills:
  • Possess a passion for helping people and having a positive impact on people's lives
  • Background in psychology, education, or fitness
  • Experience working with children; ages 2 to 10, preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Possess a curiosity for understanding how people work and think
  • Understand what it means to be a role-model and have a positive influence on children
  • Ability to maintain professional conduct at all times
  • Project an active and healthy lifestyle
  • Energetic, confident and outgoing personality
  • Punctual

Not Required:
  • Experience playing sports: basketball, soccer, baseball, football, or lacrosse preferred
  • Early Childhood Education (ECE)
