Kidokinetics San Diego is seeking enthusiastic, dependable, and professional coaches to lead engaging sports enrichment programs for children ages 3-12. We partner with preschools, elementary schools, and community organizations throughout San Diego County to introduce children to more than 20 different sports while helping them build confidence, teamwork, coordination, and a lifelong love of movement. Who We're Looking For Our ideal coach: Holds an Associate's degree or higher ( Bachelor's degree preferred ) Has previous experience working with children in educational, recreational, coaching, childcare, or youth development settings Has a strong background in sports, athletics, fitness, or coaching Is energetic, engaging, and confident leading groups of children Is dependable, punctual, and highly professional Possesses excellent communication and leadership skills Enjoys creating a fun, positive, and encouraging environment where every child can succeed Responsibilities As a Kidokinetics Coach, you will: Lead structured sports enrichment classes for children ages 3-12 Teach the fundamentals of a variety of sports through fun, age-appropriate activities Foster a safe, inclusive, and energetic learning environment Build children's confidence, teamwork, and motor skills through positive coaching Represent Kidokinetics professionally at our partner schools and community organizations Arrive prepared, organized, and ready to deliver an exceptional experience every class No lesson planning is required. We provide all curriculum, equipment, training, and ongoing support. Preferred Educational Backgrounds We encourage applicants with degrees in: Kinesiology Child Development Education Physical Education Exercise Science Psychology Recreation Management Sports Management Occupational Therapy Physical Therapy Athletic Training Applicants with related degrees and relevant experience are encouraged to apply. Qualifications Associate's degree or higher required (Bachelor's degree preferred) Previous experience working with children required Strong sports, athletics, fitness, or coaching background Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout San Diego County Availability during weekday mornings and/or afternoons Ability to pass a background check Ability to actively demonstrate sports skills and lead physically engaging classes CPR/First Aid certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain after hire) About Kidokinetics Kidokinetics is a nationally recognized youth sports enrichment company dedicated to helping children discover the joy of movement through sports.
