Requirements / Qualifications

  • CPR/First Aid Certification
  • Letter of interest stating qualifications
  • Letter of recommendation (dated within past 36 mths and physically signed)
TB Screening Result Qualifications:
1. Previous high school or college experience at the varsity level. 2. Willingness to organize, train, and coach student / athletes throughout the year. 3. Support, abide, and enforce all academic guidelines and policies of the school and athletic department to insure academic progress of the student-athlete. 4. CPR / First Aid certification ( may be taken upon hiring ) 5. National Federation online courses ( may be taken upon hiring ) 6. Knowledge of rules and regulations of sport. 7. Ability to meet with team each day during the season of sport, and organize practices. 8. Knowledge of training methods and safety procedures as they relate to the health and wellbeing of our student athletes in the cross country program. 9. Ability to hire, train, and organize a coaching staff with similar philosophies of "Victory with Honor ". 10. Perform duties with professional conduct, being fiscally responsible and with a commitment to student-athlete wellbeing. If you do not have a teaching credential or current Activity Clearance Certificate, you will be required to apply for (at your expense $102.50) and hold the certificate prior to being allowed to work with students.
