Rancho Cucamonga, CA Job Details Part-time $22 - $24 an hour 23 hours ago Qualifications Working with individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders Working with individuals with cognitive disabilities HIPAA Direct behavioral therapy Autism spectrum disorders support Full Job Description Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate, energetic, upbeat, and dedicated person to provide high-quality independent living skills to individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism and Down Syndrome. This person will work closely with clients and families to support skill development and promote positive behavior change. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of those served. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) to promote independence and functional skills. Collaborate with supervisor, coworkers, and families to ensure consistency Maintain confidentiality of client information in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Share progress notes and other relevant documentation clearly and professionally with staff. Participate in ongoing training related to program Foster a supportive environment that encourages skill acquisition for clients Skills Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques and principles, including Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), preferred but not required Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, such as autism spectrum disorder, Learning Disabilities, and Down Syndrome Familiarity with HIPAA regulations ensuring confidentiality of sensitive information. Effective communication skills for working collaboratively with clients and team members. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about making a difference Must be energetic, positive, and very upbeat
