Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and passionate Lead Cheer Coach to inspire and develop our cheerleading team. In this dynamic role, you will work with you will lead practices, choreograph routines, and foster a positive team environment that encourages teamwork, discipline, and confidence. Your leadership will motivate athletes to perform at their best while promoting sportsmanship and personal growth. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to shape the next generation of cheerleaders and contribute to a vibrant athletic community. Responsibilities Design and implement engaging cheerleading routines tailored to skill levels and team goals Lead team practices, providing clear instructions, demonstrations, and constructive feedback Foster a positive, inclusive environment that encourages teamwork, discipline, and enthusiasm Coordinate with other coaches and staff to organize competitions, performances, and events Monitor athlete progress, ensuring safety protocols are followed during all activities Incorporate elements of physical education, dance, gymnastics, and martial arts such as karate or judo into training sessions to enhance skills Manage behavior and motivate athletes to maintain focus, respect, and sportsmanship during practices and competitions Experience Prior experience in sports coaching, cheerleading, or related physical activity instruction Background in teaching or working with children or youth in a sports or educational setting Knowledge of cheerleading techniques, choreography, and performance skills Familiarity with health club or gym environments is a plus Experience working with students on behavior management and skill development Additional skills in swimming, martial arts (such as karate or judo), climbing, or basketball are advantageous for versatile coaching capabilities Join us as a Lead Cheer Coach to make a lasting impact on young athletes' lives!
