North Inland Empire (Rotating Seasonal Venues) Job Summary Join our team as a Cheer Instructor and take on a hands-on role, leading athletes and providing expert instruction in the exciting world of cheerleading. As a Cheer Instructor, you will be directly responsible for delivering the i9 Sports Experience and fostering a positive youth sports culture on the field. Your expertise and guidance will help athletes develop their skills while having fun. Regional Details Our programs rotate seasonally to use the best facilities in the area. This position covers our North Cluster , including: Rancho Cucamonga, Fontana, Ontario, Chino Hills, Eastvale, and Jurupa Valley. Assignment locations vary by season. Reliable transportation to all cities in this cluster is required. Responsibilities Lead engaging practice sessions focused on fundamental skills, skill development, and enjoyment. Teach and demonstrate core concepts, including sportsmanship values, to instill positive values in athletes. Utilize established platforms to effectively communicate game day information to players and parents. Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude and deliver exceptional customer service. Qualifications/Requirements Must be 16 years of age or older. Minimum of 2 years of cheerleading or dance experience. Reliable transportation to and from the work site. Access to a phone with internet capability. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with athletes, parents, and colleagues. Sport-specific coaching experience and knowledge in cheerleading. Highly motivated self-starter who can work independently. Ability to work a varied schedule, including weekends and some evenings, for the full duration of the season (approximately 7 weeks). Successful completion of a National Criminal Background Check is required. Payment for this position is based on a game rate structure. This means that as an independent contractor, you will be paid weekly based only on the number of games you successfully work during that period. Your total weekly compensation will be the established rate multiplied by the number of games completed; it is not a fixed salary or an hourly wage for time spent outside of game duties. This structure directly ties your earnings to your active participation in scheduled games. Each franchised location is independently owned and operated and is solely and exclusively responsible for determining local hiring decisions, compensation, benefits, and other terms of employment.
