Job Description

Community Christian College is a 2-year college specializing in helping inner-city youth transfer to 4-year colleges though the use of sport programs. Job Overview We are seeking energetic and dedicated Christian Seasonal Baseball Coaches to inspire and guide participants across a variety of sports, fitness, and recreational activities. In this role, you will foster a positive environment that promotes skill development, teamwork, and personal growth. Your enthusiasm and leadership will motivate students to achieve their best while ensuring safety and enjoyment at all times. These paid positions offer an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in our vibrant community programs.
Positions Available:
A Pitching Coach:
The Pitching Coach supports in all coaching duties including practice plans, scheduling, recruiting, travel arrangements, and statistics. A commitment to teaching and working with student-athletes through all facets of their experience in college is expected.
Assistant Coaches:
Looking for motivated, energetic, passionate and caring individuals to assist our baseball program. The Assistant Coach helps prepare the team for a full intercollegiate season, including in-season practices, scouting, and fundraising. Also, this person will play an active role in identifying, evaluating, and recruiting qualified prospective student-athletes. A commitment to teaching and working with student-athletes through all facets of their experience in college is expected. Qualifications Prior experience in sports coaching or team leadership roles required Strong communication skills to effectively connect with participants, parents, and team members Able to work successfully in a Christian enviroment Knowledge of first aid and CPR procedures; AED operation certification preferred Demonstrated ability to teach physical education or sports to new college level students Familiarity with health club or gym environments Proven track record in behavior management and creating inclusive, motivating atmospheres
Pay:
$3,500.00 - $6,500.00 per year People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply
