ABOUT SPIRIT PREPARATORY SCHOOL

Spirit Preparatory School is a professional cheer and athletics training facility in Riverside, CA, dedicated to developing athletes of all ages through structured, progressive, and positive coaching. Our coaches are USA Cheer and YCADA certified, background-checked, and committed to excellence on and off the mat.

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are looking for two passionate Cheer Coaches to lead both recreational classes and competition teams. Whether you're experienced in competition choreography or an up-and-coming coach ready to grow, we have a role for you. You'll work in a structured, high-energy environment where athlete development is always the priority.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Coach cheer classes and/or competition teams across skill levels Teach and reinforce fundamentals: motions, jumps, stunts, and tumbling basics Assist with choreography development and routine building Prepare athletes for competitions and showcase performances Maintain a safe, structured, and encouraging training environment Provide skill progression feedback to athletes and their families

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Cheerleading experience required Coaching experience preferred (assistant-level candidates welcome to apply) Knowledge of stunting technique, progressions, and safety protocols High energy, reliable, and professional demeanor Comfortable and enthusiastic working with youth athletes
