About Rally Gymnastics Rally Gymnastics is a boutique, community-centered gymnastics and movement gym serving children ages 3-13. Who This Role Is For This role is perfect for someone who: Loves working with children Enjoys teaching movement, not just gymnastics skills Values emotional development, confidence-building, and positive behavior support Wants to be part of a small, mission-driven team Gymnastics experience is a plus — but a genuine passion for child development is essential . What a Day at Rally Looks Like Arriving before classes begin to review the day's schedule and set up equipment Greeting students by name and helping them transition smoothly into class Coaching 3-5 classes per shift using Rally's structured lesson plans Encouraging effort, celebrating progress, and reinforcing positive behavior Supporting children through challenges with patience and clear communication Collaborating with fellow coaches between classes Resetting equipment and completing a brief end-of-day report before heading home Responsibilities Coach gymnastics, tumbling, and movement classes for children ages 3-13 Create a safe, engaging, and encouraging class environment Use positive behavior management strategies aligned with Rally's values Adapt instruction to different learning styles and ability levels Build relationships with students and families Collaborate with fellow coaches and leadership Complete basic administrative tasks (attendance and end-of-day reports) Required Qualifications Experience working with children (education, coaching, childcare, camps, etc.) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Patience, empathy, and emotional awareness Ability to follow structured lesson plans and gym policies Must submit a valid USAG Membership Card and complete a background check Preferred Qualifications Gymnastics, tumbling, cheer, dance, or movement background Knowledge of early childhood or youth development Experience adapting instruction for different learning styles
