This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to student-athletes' growth, both on and off the field, by providing expert coaching, mentorship, and support. You will collaborate closely with head coaches and sports staff to implement training programs, promote teamwork, and uphold the highest standards of sportsmanship and safety. Responsibilities Assist in planning and executing practice sessions, drills, and game strategies for football teams. Support athletes in developing technical skills, physical fitness, and game awareness through engaging coaching methods. Help monitor player behavior, enforce rules, and promote a respectful team culture. Contribute to injury prevention efforts by ensuring proper warm-up routines and safety protocols are followed. Collaborate with other sports coaches to organize team activities, competitions, and community outreach events. Maintain accurate records of player attendance, performance assessments, and training progress. Foster a positive environment that encourages motivation, discipline, and sportsmanship among all participants. Requirements Prior experience in sports coaching or physical education is highly desirable. Background in football Demonstrated ability to work with student-athletes Knowledge of behavior management techniques to support student-athletes' development. Strong communication skills to effectively instruct and motivate diverse groups of young athletes. Certification in first aid or CPR is preferred, but willingness to obtain necessary certifications is expected.
