Job Description

Pacifica Christian High School located at 1730 Wilshire Boulevard in Santa Monica is looking for a soccer coach who is passionate about high school kids, sports, and education. I nterested individuals must possess high level coaching skills and experience, specific sport knowledge, and personal experience in playing the sport. The candidate should be self-motivated, humble, dependable, and have excellent communication skills. All athletic department staff should be committed to teaching and mentoring young athletes. Candidates should be mature in the Christian faith, willing to embrace the mission and vision of Pacifica Christian, and wholeheartedly support the Seawolf Athletics' philosophy. Daily practice times will vary rotating either 2:00-4:00 or 3:00-5:00 with competitions throughout the season in the afternoons or evenings. There will be a few Saturday commitments and possibly an overnight travel trip as well. Season•Mid-October through

Desire to engage with the Pacifica community Strong Christian faith Afternoon and evening availability Technically savvy•ability to use technology, social media and a variety of platforms for marketing, organization, and communication Knowledge of athletics and high school athletic programs Effective verbal and written communication skills Ability to work as a team•with athletic dept. admin, other coaches, teachers, parents, staff and students.
