AST Coaches provide individualized, one-on-one support in home and community settings. Our services are guided by Montessori values and focus on building meaningful skills that promote long-term growth and independence. Responsibilities Provide one-on-one Adaptive Skills Training services in home and community settings. Support clients in developing skills related to: Educational and vocational readiness Social interaction and communication Emotional regulation and coping strategies Community participation Executive functioning and organization Self-advocacy and problem-solving Collect data and document client progress. Collaborate with families, supervisors, and other support team members. Attend training, supervision, and staff meetings. Maintain professional boundaries and uphold client confidentiality. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, Human Development, Social Work, Special Education, or a related field. Availability Monday through Friday during the afternoon and early evening hours. At least one year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, or related disabilities. Valid California driver's license. Reliable vehicle and proof of automobile insurance. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Basic computer skills, including Google Workspace (Google Docs, Sheets, Calendar, and email). Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule. Preferred Qualifications Experience providing Adaptive Skills Training, behavioral support, educational support, or similar services. Bilingual English/Spanish. Experience working with children and adolescents. Schedule Part-time position with opportunity for full-time employment. Consistent afternoon and early evening schedule. Attend trainings, supervision, and staff meetings.
Pay:
$28.00 - $35.00 per hour
