Skills Institute Soccer Coach Position Type:
Part Time About the Role Sofive Soccer Center is looking for energetic, dependable, and kid-focused coaches to join our Skills Institute team. As a Skills Institute Coach, you will lead structured weekly soccer classes for children ages 5 to 12. Using our proven curriculum, you will help players develop technical skills, confidence, teamwork, and a lasting love for the game. Why You'll Love This Role Flexible part-time hours Consistent weekly schedule throughout each 13-week season Limited coaching experience required Supportive and energetic team environment Opportunities to develop leadership, communication, and coaching skills Career growth opportunities within a rapidly expanding company The chance to make a meaningful impact on young athletes Responsibilities Lead engaging soccer training sessions for children ages 5 to 12 Teach core skills including dribbling, passing, shooting, movement, and teamwork Follow the Skills Institute curriculum and class structure Create a positive, encouraging, and appropriately challenging environment Promote teamwork, perseverance, confidence, and sportsmanship Build strong relationships with players and families Represent Sofive, Skills Institute, and Lil' Kickers professionally and enthusiastically Support special events and local marketing initiatives when needed Schedule Weekend availability is required Additional shifts may be available on weekday afternoons and evenings Coaches must commit to consistent weekly shifts throughout the 13-week season Qualifications Passion for soccer and youth development Positive, energetic, and encouraging attitude Ability to keep children engaged in a group setting Dependability and commitment to scheduled classes Willingness to learn and develop as a coach Previous playing, teaching, or coaching experience is helpful but not required Successful completion of a background check Whether you are looking to begin a career in coaching, strengthen your leadership skills, or share your love of soccer with the next generation, this is an opportunity to make a lasting impact.
