Preschool Gymnastics Coach Arbor Gymnastics Boulder, CO Job Details Part-time $25 - $35 an hour 17 hours ago Qualifications Parent communication Working with families Sports activities for children Gymnastics Teaching experience with young children Infant care Infants Full Job Description Infant + Parent-Tot Gymnastics Coach Part-Time | Arbor Gymnastics | Boulder, CO Arbor Gymnastics is looking for a very special person to lead our infant, baby, and parent-tot programming for children approximately 6 months-3 years old. This is not an entry-level coaching position. We are looking for someone who already has experience working with infants and toddlers, has a strong understanding of early childhood development, and genuinely LOVES this age group. You should understand developmental milestones, gross motor development, age-appropriate movement, and how dramatically different a 7-month-old, 18-month-old, and 3-year-old can be. This role is also just as much about the parents as it is the kiddos. We want someone who is comfortable talking with parents, explaining what they are working on, celebrating developmental wins, and creating a class families genuinely look forward to each week. You may be a great fit if you: Have previous experience teaching infants, toddlers, parent-tot gymnastics, movement classes, early childhood education, music, dance, or a similar program Have a strong understanding of infant and toddler development Understand developmental milestones and gross motor progression Can create thoughtful, age-appropriate lesson plans Can modify activities for children at very different developmental stages LOVE ages infant through 3 Are playful, energetic, expressive, outgoing, and a little silly Are comfortable singing, playing, demonstrating, and fully committing to the class Enjoy talking with parents and building relationships with families Can confidently lead a room while still making every family feel seen Are dependable and want to become an important part of a very small team What we are really looking for We are a small, community-focused gym, and we care deeply about the experience families have when they walk through our doors. We are looking for someone who wants to be the part. Our goal is not to simply run good classes. We want these classes to be exceptional. We want parents to leave feeling like they learned something about their child. We want kiddos to light up when they walk into the gym. And we want families to feel like their coach truly knows and cares about them.
Pay:
$25.00 - $35.00 per hour
