Recreational Gymnastics CoachArk Valley Athletics | Buena Vista, Colorado Ark Valley Athletics is looking for a positive, energetic, and dependable Recreational Gymnastics Coach to join our team! We are a small, tight-knit gym in the heart of our community, offering gymnastics, aerial silks, and ninja classes for kids. We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with children and wants to help them build confidence, strength, skills, and a love for movement. What You'll Do Lead recreational gymnastics classes with a focus on safety, proper technique, strength, and skill development Learn and teach pre-planned drills, progressions, and gymnastics skills Set up and put away equipment needed for each class Follow established class schedules and lesson plans Physically assist athletes with skills through spotting , including catching or guiding athletes to help them learn skills safely and prevent injuries Take attendance and keep accurate class records Track athlete progress and communicate observations with the coaching team Maintain a positive, encouraging, and safe environment for all athletes Attend staff meetings approximately every other month Complete required USA Gymnastics SafeSport and concussion training and become registered with
