We are currently hiring for an Assistant Volleyball Coach and are looking for an individual who is passionate about developing student-athletes both on and off the court. Our volleyball program emphasizes character development, teamwork, discipline, sportsmanship, and competitive excellence. Coaches play an important role in mentoring students while helping build a strong and positive program culture.

Season Details Official volleyball season:

August - November Preseason and offseason training opportunities available Practices are typically held after school with matches and tournaments throughout the season Responsibilities Assist with planning and leading effective volleyball practices Teach volleyball fundamentals, techniques, conditioning, and game strategy Support the Head Coach with team organization and athlete development Promote sportsmanship, discipline, teamwork, and positive team culture Supervise athletes during practices, matches, travel, and team events Collaborate with school administration and athletic leadership Help support offseason training and player development opportunities Qualifications Prior volleyball coaching experience preferred Volleyball background as a player and/or coach preferred Ability to motivate, mentor, and positively influence student-athletes Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Must pass required background checks and school clearances Compensation Stipend range: $1,500 - $4,000 Based on experience, responsibilities, and program needs Why Coach at James Irwin Charter Schools?
